描述Colominic acid sodium salt is an N-acetylneuraminic acid homopolymer produced by Escherichia coli, used to study the process of protein polysialylation and exhibiting antibacterial activity.
体外活性Colominic acid sodium salt (Polysialic acid)通过N-糖基化作用，特异性地靶向中枢神经系统中范围较窄的组分，包括诸如神经细胞粘附分子（Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule，NCAM）、突触细胞粘附分子1（Synaptic Cell Adhesion Molecule 1，SynCAM1）以及神经纤毛蛋白-2受体（Neuropilin-2 receptor）等细胞粘附分子。[1]
