描述L-Glutamic Acid-1-13C (Standard) is a reference standard of L-Glutamic Acid-1-13C intended for quantitative analysis, quality control, and related biochemical research applications. L-Glutamic acid-1-13C is a 13C-labeled variant of L-Glutamic acid. Serving as an excitatory amino acid neurotransmitter, L-Glutamic acid acts as an agonist for all subtypes of glutamate receptors, including metabotropic kainate, NMDA, and AMPA receptors. It also stimulates the release of DA from dopaminergic nerve terminals.
