Bioactivity

名称Stigmast-5-en-3-ol
描述Stigmast-5-en-3-ol induces apoptosis in cancer cells and inhibits cellular proliferation by increasing the production of Bax, Caspase-9, p53, and promoting PARP cleavage, while reducing Bcl-xl expression. It exhibits potent inhibitory activity against glucose amylase and α-amylase (α-amylase), and demonstrates high antioxidant activity. This compound is applicable in research related to leukemia, breast cancer, type 2 diabetes, and obesity.
体外活性Stigmast-5-en-3-ol (Compound DGEH21-3-2) 在浓度为 12.5-50 μg/mL，处理 24 小时时，对 HL-60 和 MCF-7 细胞显示出细胞毒性，IC 50 值分别为 37.82 和 45.17 μg/mL。该化合物在相同处理条件下诱导细胞凋亡，导致 DNA 损伤，并通过增加 Bax、Caspase-9、p53 和 PARP 裂解的产生同时降低 Bcl-xl 水平来发挥作用。此外，Stigmast-5-en-3-ol (Compound 24R) 在 2-10 μg/mL 浓度范围，处理 30 分钟时，对葡萄糖淀粉酶和 α-淀粉酶表现出强效抑制活性，IC 50 分别为 5.8 和 7.198 µg/mL，也表现出很高的自由基活性。
