Bioactivity

名称Glycerophosphocholine
描述Glycerophosphocholine is a naturally occurring, water-soluble source of choline. As a precursor for the biosynthesis of brain phospholipids, glycerophosphocholine efficiently crosses the blood-brain barrier and increases the availability of acetylcholine in neural tissue. Glycerophosphocholine is used in research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. It is also a potential biomarker for breast cancer.
体外活性方法：Caco-2 细胞接种于 Transwell 小室培养 14 天形成完整单层（TEER=2234±201 Ω・cm²），分别在顶端或基底侧加入不同浓度Glycerophosphocholine（100 μM、300 μM、1 mM），孵育 20 小时后收集顶端培养基、基底侧培养基和细胞裂解液，LC-MS/MS 定量检测 Glycerophosphocholine、胆碱和甜菜碱浓度。 结果：顶端加 Glycerophosphocholine 后，顶端和基底侧胆碱浓度呈剂量依赖性显著升高。[1]
体内活性方法：6 周龄雄性 C57BL/6J 小鼠，口服灌胃 Glycerophosphocholine（500 mg/kg），分别在给药后 0、0.5、1、3、6、10 小时采集尾静脉血，LC-MS/MS 定量检测血液中 TMAO、Glycerophosphocholine、胆碱和甜菜碱浓度。 结果：血液 Glycerophosphocholine 和胆碱浓度在 0.5 小时即显著升高（p<0.001）；TMAO 和甜菜碱浓度在 3-6 小时达峰（p<0.01），证实 Glycerophosphocholine 可快速代谢为胆碱并进一步生成 TMAO。[1]
