Bioactivity

名称VK-1727
描述VK-1727, a selective small molecule inhibitor of EBNA1, reduces the DNA binding activity of EBNA1 while simultaneously restricting the proliferation and metabolic activity of EBV-positive cells, it does so without influencing the viability of EBV-negative cells, thereby demonstrating specificity. VK-1727 is primarily employed in researchs that focus on multiple sclerosis, in which it serves as a tool compound to interrogate EBNA1-mediated mechanisms in disease-related processes.
体外活性方法：VK-1727 (25 μM, 72小时) 处理EBV+ 细胞，通过流式细胞术检测细胞周期。 结果：VK-1727显著减少了EBV+细胞（HC1-2、SMS1-3和AMS1-4）中G2期细胞的总数，而在EBV-B细胞中则未观察到类似效应。[1]
