描述Aminochalcone 4AAF is a neuroprotective agent that exhibits anxiolytic effects through its interaction with GABAA and 5-HT receptors. It shows high selectivity for 5-HT3A and 5-HT2C receptors and modulates allosteric behavior at the 5-HT2A receptor. Aminochalcone 4AAF is known for its hypoglycemic properties and reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels in the liver. It also delays the tonic phase of seizures. This compound is useful in research on anxiety, hyperglycemia, and epilepsy.
