Bioactivity

名称Streptavidin
描述Streptavidin is a protein tetramer purified from bacteria with a very high affinity for biotin and is commonly used for the purification or detection of various biomolecules. Streptavidin is immunologically active, inhibiting IL-2 synthesis and CD25 expression in T cells.
体外活性与对照组相比，Streptavidin（2-200 μg/mL）显著抑制 Lewis T细胞向WF的增殖，抑制率为76%-83%[1]。 在Western blot或ELISA中，0.1-1 µg/ml的浓度就足够。 在免疫沉淀中，可以使用1-10 µg/ml的浓度。
体内活性在 Lewis 大鼠模型中，通过皮下注射给予 Streptavidin 可诱导显著的免疫抑制反应，包括对第三方抗原的 T 细胞增殖反应降低[1]。
