描述Chondroitin sulfate A sodium salt is a natural glycosaminoglycan extracted from animal cartilage. As a key structural component of cartilage, it is widely used in research and treatment of diseases such as osteoarthritis. Chondroitin sulfate A sodium salt primarily exerts its effects by inhibiting hyaluronidase activity, exerting cartilage-protective effects, while also possessing anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities. Its mechanism of action involves inhibition of the NF-κB signaling pathway and regulation of the TLR/MyD88 pathway. Additionally, Chondroitin sulfate A sodium salt serves as a specific receptor for the adhesion of Plasmodium falciparum-infected erythrocytes in microcirculation, thus playing a role in malaria infection mechanism research.
