应用四氟硼酸锂(LiBF4)具有较好的化学稳定性和热稳定性，对环境水分布敏感，主要作为电解质锂盐用于锂离子电池电解液。制备利用三氟化硼和溶解在氟化氢中的氟化锂反应制备四氟硼酸锂。其反应方程式：LiF+BF3→LiBF4实验步骤：称取一定量的LiF，将其溶解于一定量无水氟化氢中，再通入BF3气体，控制一定温度下进行吸收反应，生成的LiBF4经蒸发结晶后析出。控制BF3通入稍过量，保压一定时间使反应充分进行，随后经结晶、过滤、干燥后得到成品。用途温和的Lewis酸，用于Diels-Alder反应；环氧乙烷氨解催化剂。
