蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).

The protein has a calculated MW of 22.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 25-30 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Biotinylation of this product is performed using Avitag™ technology. Briefly, the single lysine residue in the Avitag is enzymatically labeled with biotin.

白介素-11（IL-11）是一种多效性细胞因子，能刺激巨核细胞生成从而提升血小板产量，同时可激活破骨细胞、抑制上皮细胞增殖与凋亡，并减少巨噬细胞介质的产生。这些功能对IL-11介导的造血促进、骨骼调节及黏膜保护效应具有重要作用。该细胞因子还具有抗炎活性，已被提议作为克罗恩病和类风湿关节炎等慢性炎症性疾病的潜在治疗剂。尽管早期认为IL-11仅存在于哺乳动物，后续研究表明其也在鱼类中表达。虽然鱼类与哺乳动物IL-11的基因结构高度相似且关键氨基酸保守，但两者整体氨基酸序列一致性较低，功能上未必完全对应。
