Description：Zilucoplan是一种15个氨基酸的大环肽，同时也是有效的补体成分 5 (C5) 抑制剂多肽，能特异性的靶向末端补体激活途径的组分C5，从而防止C5被C5转化酶裂解为补体成分C5a和C5b，进而阻止膜攻击复合物（MAC）的下游组装和活性。Zilucoplan可用于免疫介导的坏死性肌病 (IMNM) 以及全身性重症肌无力（gMG）的相关研究。

Zilucoplan is a 15 amino acid macrocyclic peptide and an effective complement component 5 (C5) inhibitor polypeptide. It can specifically target the component C5 of the terminal complement activation pathway, thereby preventing C5 from being cleaved by C5 convertase into complement components C5a and C5b, and thus preventing downstream assembly and activity of membrane attack complexes (MACs). Zilucoplan can be used for research on immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM) and systemic myasthenia gravis (gMG).
