The MAP3K1 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 1) antibody is a tool used to study the MAP3K1 protein, a serine/threonine kinase central to the MAPK signaling cascade. Its gene, located on chromosome 5q11. encodes a protein with a kinase domain, a PB1 domain for protein interactions, and a caspase-3 cleavage site, reflecting its role in apoptosis.

These reagents help elucidate MAP3K1's involvement in diseases, particularly cancers (e.g., breast, ovarian) and developmental disorders.
