The CEND1 (Cell Cycle Exit and Neuronal Differentiation 1) antibody is a research tool targeting the CEND1 protein, a key regulator in neurodevelopment. CEND1. also known as BM88. is a neuronal membrane-associated protein involved in cell cycle exit and differentiation of neural progenitor cells. It plays a critical role in orchestrating the transition from proliferating neural stem cells to postmitotic neurons during brain development, particularly in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. By promoting cell cycle withdrawal and activating differentiation pathways, CEND1 contributes to the precise timing of neurogenesis and neuronal maturation.
