BACH2 (BTB and CNC homology 1. basic leucine zipper transcription factor 2) is a transcription regulator belonging to the basic leucine zipper (bZIP) protein family. It plays a critical role in immune system regulation, particularly in the development and differentiation of B and T lymphocytes. BACH2 is involved in orchestrating oxidative stress responses and maintaining immune homeostasis by repressing or activating target genes. It acts as a tumor suppressor in certain cancers and is implicated in autoimmune diseases (e.g., multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis) and allergic disorders (e.g., asthma) due to its regulatory effects on immune cell function.

BACH2 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and interaction partners.
