WDHD1 (WD Repeat and HMG-box Domain Containing 1) is a protein implicated in DNA replication and genome stability. It contains a conserved WD40 domain and a high-mobility group (HMG)-box domain, suggesting roles in protein-protein interactions and DNA binding. WDHD1 is a key component of the replication fork protection complex (FPC), working alongside proteins like TIMELESS and TIPIN to stabilize stalled replication forks, ensure faithful DNA replication, and coordinate replication stress responses. Dysregulation of WDHD1 has been linked to genomic instability, a hallmark of cancer and other diseases.

Antibodies targeting WDHD1 are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and molecular interactions.
