The STK26 antibody is designed to target serine/threonine kinase 26 (STK26), also known as mammalian STE20-like kinase 4 (MST4), a member of the germinal center kinase III subfamily. STK26 is a ubiquitously expressed protein kinase involved in regulating cell polarity, proliferation, apoptosis, and stress responses. It interacts with signaling pathways such as the ERK and JNK cascades, often through phosphorylation of downstream substrates. STK26 localizes to the Golgi apparatus and plasma membrane, where it participates in maintaining cellular structure and function, particularly in response to oxidative or osmotic stress.
