Mutations in the *STAG3* gene are linked to human reproductive disorders, including premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), highlighting its importance in gametogenesis.

STAG3 antibodies are widely used in reproductive biology research to investigate protein expression, localization, and function in germ cells. They enable detection of STAG3 in tissues (e.g., testes, ovaries) via techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.
