The PDZRN4 (PDZ Domain-Containing RING Finger 4) protein, also known as LNX4. is a member of the LNX family of E3 ubiquitin ligases. It contains an N-terminal RING domain, which mediates ubiquitination, and multiple C-terminal PDZ domains that facilitate protein-protein interactions. PDZRN4 is implicated in regulating cellular processes such as protein degradation, signal transduction, and tissue development, particularly in neuromuscular systems. Studies suggest its involvement in ubiquitination-dependent modulation of pathways like Notch and Wnt, as well as roles in myogenesis and synaptic organization.
