CMTM1 (CKLF-like MARVEL transmembrane domain-containing 1) is a member of the CMTM family, which shares structural similarities with both chemokine-like factor (CKLF) and MARVEL domain-containing proteins. It plays roles in cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis, and immune regulation. CMTM1 is expressed in various tissues, including immune cells, the male reproductive system, and certain cancers. Studies suggest its involvement in tumor suppression or progression, depending on context, potentially through modulation of signaling pathways like EGFR or PI3K/AKT.

Antibodies targeting CMTM1 are essential tools for detecting its expression and localization in cells or tissues.
