The CCL13 antibody targets chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 13 (CCL13), a small secretory protein belonging to the CC chemokine subfamily. CCL13. also known as monocyte chemoattractant protein-4 (MCP-4), is produced by immune and stromal cells in response to inflammatory stimuli. It binds to chemokine receptors CCR2. CCR3. and CCR5. mediating leukocyte recruitment, particularly monocytes, eosinophils, and T cells, to sites of inflammation or injury.
