The PDE4DIP antibody targets the protein encoded by the *PDE4DIP* gene, also known as *Myomegalin*. This protein interacts with phosphodiesterase 4D (PDE4D), a key enzyme regulating cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) signaling by hydrolyzing cAMP. PDE4DIP is involved in maintaining intracellular cAMP gradients, which influence diverse cellular processes, including cytoskeletal organization, cell cycle progression, and vesicle trafficking. Structurally, PDE4DIP contains multiple coiled-coil domains and a centrosomal targeting region, enabling its role in anchoring PDE4D to subcellular compartments like the Golgi apparatus and centrosomes. Dysregulation of PDE4DIP has been implicated in pathologies such as cardiovascular disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and cancers, where altered cAMP signaling contributes to disease progression.

Antibodies against PDE4DIP are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and interaction networks. They are widely used in techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation to investigate PDE4DIP’s regulatory functions in cellular models or tissue samples.
