背景信息

MYEF2 (Myelin Expression Factor 2) antibody is a tool used to study the MYEF2 protein, a member of the myelin transcription factor family. MYEF2. also known as N-AXIN or myelin expression factor 2. plays a role in regulating gene expression during neural development, particularly in oligodendrocytes responsible for myelination in the central nervous system. It contains a zinc finger domain and interacts with DNA to modulate transcription of myelin-related genes, such as proteolipid protein (PLP) and myelin basic protein (MBP).
