Studies link ASTE1 to cell cycle regulation, with its dysregulation observed in certain cancers, though its precise molecular mechanisms remain under investigation.

The ASTE1 antibody is primarily utilized in research settings to detect and quantify endogenous ASTE1 protein expression via techniques like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, or immunohistochemistry. It aids in exploring ASTE1's spatial-temporal expression patterns, post-translational modifications, and interactions with repair complexes.
