DENND1B (Differentially Expressed in Normal and Neoplastic Cells Domain 1B) is a member of the DENN domain-containing protein family, which plays critical roles in intracellular membrane trafficking and signal transduction. The DENND1B gene encodes a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that activates Rab GTPases, particularly Rab35. regulating vesicle formation, receptor recycling, and cytokine secretion. DENND1B is implicated in immune regulation, neurodevelopment, and cancer progression, with studies linking its genetic variants to asthma, autoimmune diseases, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

DENND1B antibodies are essential tools for studying the protein's expression, localization, and function in cellular and disease contexts. These antibodies enable detection of DENND1B via techniques like Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. Research using DENND1B-specific antibodies has revealed its involvement in T-cell receptor signaling, dendritic cell maturation, and synaptic vesicle trafficking. In cancer, DENND1B overexpression has been associated with tumor growth and metastasis in certain malignancies.
