ZFP36 (also known as Tristetraprolin or TTP) is an RNA-binding protein that plays a critical role in regulating inflammatory responses by destabilizing target mRNAs containing AU-rich elements (AREs) in their 3' untranslated regions. It is a member of the TIS11 family of zinc finger proteins and acts as a post-transcriptional suppressor of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α, IL-6. and GM-CSF, by promoting mRNA degradation. Dysregulation of ZFP36 has been linked to chronic inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and cancer.

Antibodies targeting ZFP36 are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and functional interactions in various biological contexts.
