**Background of DENR Antibody**

The DENR (Density-Regulated Protein) antibody is a tool used to detect and study the DENR protein, a conserved eukaryotic factor involved in translation regulation. DENR, also known as density-regulated re-initiation and release factor, interacts with MCT-1 (malignant T-cell-amplified sequence 1) to form a complex critical for ribosome recycling and translation re-initiation, particularly for mRNAs with short upstream open reading frames (uORFs).
