描述（Description）

Transforming growth factor-beta 2 (TGF-β2), an extracellular glycosylated protein, is a member of the TGF-β superfamily. TGFβ2 controls key physiological processes including cell migration, proliferation and differentiation via signalling through type I and type II receptors (TGFβR1 and TGFβR2). TGF-β2 is an immune suppressor involved in the development of immune tolerance, and also regulates embryonic development.

生物活性（Bioactivity）

1.The ED50 is<0.2 ng/mL as measured by mouse HT-2 cells.
2.Measured by its ability to inhibit the IL-4-dependent proliferation of TF-1 cells.The ED50 for this effect is 30-180 pg/mL.

Lyophilized after extensive dialysis against 4 mM HCl.

复溶（Reconstitution）

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 μg/mL in ddH2O. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose).

保存条件&效期（Storage & Stability）

Stored at -20°C for 3 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.Please avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输方式(Shipping)

In general, recombinant proteins are provided as lyophilized powder which are shipped at ambient temperature.

Bulk packages of recombinant proteins are provided as frozen liquid. They are shipped out with blue ice unless customers require otherwise.

生物活性（Bioactivity）

Measured in a cell inhibition assay using TF-2 cells at IL4 presence. The ED50 for this effect is ≤0.3ng/mL.

Recombinant Human TGF-β2 (Cat. No. F1d0060) SDS-PAGE under reducing (R) & Non-reducing conditions. The gel was stained with Y07801N SDS-PAGE.
