The DTX2 antibody targets the Deltex homolog 2 (DTX2) protein, a member of the Deltex family of E3 ubiquitin ligases involved in regulating cellular processes such as Notch signaling, protein degradation, and immune responses. Initially identified as a homolog of Drosophila Deltex, DTX2 plays a role in modulating Notch pathway activity by promoting ubiquitination and degradation of Notch receptors or associated proteins, though its exact mechanisms remain under investigation. Beyond Notch signaling, DTX2 has been implicated in DNA damage repair, apoptosis, and T-cell activation, highlighting its functional diversity.

Antibodies against DTX2 are critical tools for studying its expression patterns, subcellular localization, and interactions in various tissues and disease models.
