**Background of TRPM2 Antibodies**

TRPM2 (Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 2) is a Ca²⁺-permeable cation channel belonging to the TRP superfamily, activated by oxidative stress, adenosine diphosphate ribose (ADPR), and intracellular Ca²⁺. It plays critical roles in physiological processes like immune response, insulin secretion, and temperature sensing, as well as pathological conditions including neurodegenerative diseases, diabetes, and cancer. TRPM2 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and function. These antibodies target specific epitopes, such as the N-terminal domain or the C-terminal Nudix homology domain, enabling detection via techniques like Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, or immunofluorescence.

Research using TRPM2 antibodies has revealed its involvement in oxidative stress-induced cell death, inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction.
