The SENP2 (Sentrin/SUMO-specific protease 2) antibody is a crucial tool for studying the function and regulation of SENP2. a member of the SUMO protease family. SENP2 plays a pivotal role in the dynamic post-translational modification of proteins by SUMO (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier). It catalyzes the cleavage of SUMO conjugates (deSUMOylation) to maintain cellular homeostasis, influencing processes like transcriptional regulation, nuclear transport, DNA repair, and cell cycle progression.
