The PRXL2A (Peroxiredoxin-like 2A) antibody is a tool used to study the PRXL2A protein, a member of the peroxiredoxin family involved in redox regulation and cellular stress responses. PRXL2A, also known as PRX5-like or AOPP1. shares structural homology with peroxiredoxins but exhibits distinct functional properties. It localizes to mitochondria and cytoplasm, playing roles in antioxidant defense by scavenging reactive oxygen species (ROS) and modulating redox signaling pathways.
