The CNOT10 antibody is a research tool designed to target the CNOT10 protein, a critical subunit of the CCR4-NOT complex—a conserved eukaryotic multi-protein assembly involved in mRNA decay and post-transcriptional gene regulation. The CCR4-NOT complex plays diverse roles, including deadenylation of mRNA poly(A) tails, translational repression, and chromatin modification, thereby influencing cellular processes like development, stress responses, and apoptosis. CNOT10. specifically, contributes to complex stability and function, interacting with other subunits such as CNOT1. CNOT2/3. and catalytic deadenylases (e.g., CNOT6/6L/7). Studies suggest CNOT10’s involvement in miRNA-mediated gene silencing and maintenance of embryonic stem cell pluripotency.

Antibodies against CNOT10 are widely used in molecular biology to investigate its expression, localization, and interactions via techniques like Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence.
