The NUDT4 antibody is a research tool designed to detect and analyze the NUDT4 protein, a member of the Nudix hydrolase superfamily. NUDT4. also known as diadenosine tetraphosphate phosphatase (DIPP1), plays a role in hydrolyzing dinucleotide polyphosphates (e.g., Ap4A) and inositol pyrophosphates (e.g., InsP8), which are involved in cellular signaling, stress responses, and energy metabolism. Its activity impacts processes like DNA repair, apoptosis, and calcium signaling, linking it to neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and metabolic diseases.

NUDT4 antibodies are commonly used in techniques such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) to study protein expression, localization, and regulation in tissues or cultured cells. Researchers employ these antibodies to explore NUDT4's role in pathological contexts, such as its downregulation in certain cancers or dysregulation in Alzheimer’s disease models.
