MAN1B1 (Mannosidase Alpha Class 1B Member 1), also known as ERManI, is a Golgi-resident enzyme belonging to glycosyl hydrolase family 47. It catalyzes the trimming of mannose residues from N-linked glycans during protein folding, playing a critical role in endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) by monitoring glycoprotein quality and directing misfolded proteins to proteasomal degradation. Dysregulation of MAN1B1 is linked to congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDGs), cancer progression, and metabolic diseases, highlighting its importance in cellular homeostasis.

MAN1B1 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and function. These antibodies, typically raised in rabbits or mice, target specific epitopes of the MAN1B1 protein and are validated for applications like Western blotting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry.
