FXYD6 antibody is a research tool designed to target the FXYD6 protein, a member of the FXYD family of small membrane proteins that regulate ion transport by modulating the activity of Na+/K+-ATPase. FXYD6. also known as phosphohippolin, is primarily expressed in the brain, kidneys, and testes, where it plays a role in maintaining ion homeostasis and cellular excitability. Its interaction with Na+/K+-ATPase suggests involvement in neurological functions, including synaptic plasticity and signal transduction.
