The aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family member B1 (ALDH3B1) is an enzyme belonging to the ALDH superfamily, which plays a critical role in detoxifying endogenous and exogenous aldehydes by oxidizing them into carboxylic acids. ALDH3B1 is implicated in cellular defense against oxidative stress, metabolic regulation, and potential involvement in diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and alcohol-related pathologies. Its expression varies across tissues, with higher levels observed in the liver, kidneys, and respiratory tract.

ALDH3B1 antibodies are essential tools for detecting and quantifying ALDH3B1 protein expression in research applications like Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF).
