**Background of ABCF3 Antibody**

The ABCF3 antibody targets the ATP-binding cassette subfamily F member 3 (ABCF3), a protein belonging to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. Unlike many ABC transporters involved in substrate translocation across membranes, ABCF members, including ABCF3. lack transmembrane domains and are primarily associated with regulatory roles in translation, ribosome function, and cellular stress responses. ABCF3 is ubiquitously expressed, with elevated levels observed in certain tissues like the liver and testis, and has been implicated in processes such as cell proliferation, drug resistance, and cancer progression.

Studies suggest ABCF3 may interact with ribosomes or translation factors, potentially modulating protein synthesis under stress conditions. Its dysregulation has been linked to cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma and glioblastoma, where overexpression correlates with poor prognosis.
