**Background of CTSG Antibody**

Cathepsin G (CTSG) is a serine protease primarily secreted by activated neutrophils, playing critical roles in innate immunity, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. It is stored in azurophilic granules and released during neutrophil degranulation or NETosis. CTSG cleaves pathogens, regulates chemokine/cytokine activity, and processes extracellular matrix proteins.
