Wnt5b antibody is a research tool designed to target the Wnt5b protein, a member of the Wnt family of secreted glycoproteins involved in critical biological processes such as embryonic development, tissue homeostasis, and cancer progression. Wnt5b, a paralog of Wnt5a, primarily activates non-canonical Wnt signaling pathways (e.g., planar cell polarity and Wnt/Ca²+ pathways) rather than the canonical β-catenin-dependent pathway. It plays roles in cell migration, polarity, and differentiation, with dysregulation linked to tumorigenesis, metastasis, and poor prognosis in cancers like breast, colorectal, and melanoma.

Wnt5b antibodies are used in techniques such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence to detect expression patterns, localization, and functional interactions of Wnt5b in cells and tissues.
