ADGRE5 (Adhesion G Protein-Coupled Receptor E5), also known as CD97. is a member of the adhesion G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family, characterized by its hybrid structure combining a GPCR domain with extracellular adhesion motifs. It plays a role in cell-cell interactions, immune responses, and inflammatory processes by binding to ligands such as CD55 (decay-accelerating factor). ADGRE5 is broadly expressed on leukocytes, endothelial cells, and certain tumor cells, where it regulates cell migration, adhesion, and signaling pathways linked to immune activation or cancer progression.

Antibodies targeting ADGRE5 are critical tools for studying its expression, function, and involvement in diseases.
