RO60抗体

The RO60 antibody, also known as anti-SSA or anti-Ro60. targets the RO60 (SSA2/TROVE2) protein, a ring-shaped RNA-binding protein involved in RNA quality control and small noncoding Y RNA interactions. Primarily associated with autoimmune disorders, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and Sjögren’s syndrome, RO60 antibodies are detected via ELISA or immunoblot and serve as diagnostic markers. Their presence correlates with clinical features like photosensitivity, cutaneous lupus, and neonatal lupus syndrome, where maternal antibodies may cross the placenta, causing congenital heart block or rash in newborns. RO60 autoantibodies often coexist with anti-La/SSB antibodies and are linked to RNA-sensing immune pathway dysregulation. While their exact pathogenic role remains unclear, they may contribute to inflammation by forming immune complexes with RNA-protein particles. Research continues to explore their prognostic value and molecular mechanisms in autoimmunity.
