SERPINB1. a member of the serine protease inhibitor (serpin) superfamily, is an intracellular protease inhibitor primarily expressed in immune cells, epithelial tissues, and certain cancer cells. It regulates proteolytic pathways by inhibiting neutrophil elastase, cathepsin G, and proteinase-3. enzymes involved in inflammation, tissue remodeling, and apoptosis. SERPINB1 plays a critical role in maintaining immune homeostasis, protecting tissues from protease-mediated damage during infections or inflammatory responses. Dysregulation of SERPINB1 has been linked to chronic inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, and cancer progression.

SERPINB1 antibodies are essential tools for detecting and quantifying SERPINB1 protein expression in research applications such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF).
