**Background of GABPB2 Antibody**

The GABPB2 (GA-binding protein transcription factor beta subunit 2) antibody is a tool used to detect and study the GABPB2 protein, a critical component of the GA-binding protein (GABP) transcription factor complex. GABP, composed of alpha (GABPA) and beta (GABPB) subunits, belongs to the ETS family of transcription factors and regulates genes involved in mitochondrial biogenesis, cell cycle progression, and cellular metabolism. The beta subunit exists in two isoforms, GABPB1 and GABPB2. generated via alternative splicing. GABPB2 specifically modulates the DNA-binding affinity and transcriptional activity of the GABP complex.

Research using GABPB2 antibodies has highlighted its role in mitochondrial function, energy homeostasis, and cancer biology.
