CDK5RAP3 (Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 5 Regulatory Subunit Associated Protein 3) is a multifunctional protein implicated in diverse cellular processes, including cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, and stress response. Initially identified as a binding partner of CDK5R1. it interacts with components of the Wnt/β-catenin and Hedgehog pathways, influencing cell proliferation and differentiation. CDK5RAP3 also plays roles in maintaining genomic stability and modulating the unfolded protein response (UPR) during endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress.
