SIRT6. a member of the sirtuin family of NAD⁺-dependent deacetylases, plays critical roles in genomic stability, metabolism, DNA repair, and aging. As a chromatin-associated enzyme, it regulates gene expression through post-translational modifications of histones (e.g., H3K9 and H3K56 deacetylation) and interacts with transcription factors. Its involvement in suppressing inflammation, maintaining telomere integrity, and modulating glucose/lipid metabolism has made it a focus of research in age-related diseases, cancer, and metabolic disorders.

SIRT6 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, localization, and molecular interactions.
