The MAP3K5 (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 5), also known as ASK1 (Apoptosis Signal-Regulating Kinase 1), is a serine/threonine kinase involved in stress-activated signaling pathways. It plays a critical role in mediating cellular responses to oxidative stress, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and inflammatory cytokines by activating downstream MAPK cascades, including JNK and p38 pathways. MAP3K5 is implicated in apoptosis, differentiation, and inflammation, with its dysregulation linked to diseases such as cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and cardiovascular conditions.

MAP3K5 antibodies are essential tools for studying its expression, activation, and interaction networks. These antibodies are typically generated using immunogens derived from specific regions of the human MAP3K5 protein, such as the kinase domain or N-/C-terminal regions. They enable detection of MAP3K5 in techniques like Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunoprecipitation (IP).
