氨基磺酸六氟异丙酯

Hexafluoroisopropyl sulfamate (HFIPS) is a simple tool in sulfamates and sulfamides synthesis. The reagent is a bench-stable white crystalline powder, convenient for handling in simple experimental procedures1. It reacts readily with a broad scope of alcohols, amines, phenols, and anilines under mild reaction conditions2. The sole byproduct generated during the reaction is hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP), that can be easily removed. After an optional aqueous workup and solvent evaporation, the reaction products can be isolated with high purity. HFIPS exhibits perfect selectivity to the targeted functional group and in the case of amino alcohols prefers the formation of sulfamides.
