描述α-Glucosidase-IN-16 is a highly effective and orally bioavailable inhibitor of α-glucosidase, displaying a remarkable IC50 value of 3.28 μM. This compound demonstrates the ability to significantly decrease blood glucose levels in diabetic rats induced by Streptozotocin. Notably, α-Glucosidase-IN-16 also exhibits noteworthy antidiabetic activity [1].
体内活性α-Glucosidase-IN-16 (compound 13B) (10 and 20 mg/kg; PO; once daily for 28 days) significantly reduces the level of blood glucose in diabetic rats [1]. α-Glucosidase-IN-16 (2000 mg/kg; PO; single dosage) exhibits no toxic effects in mice [1]. α-Glucosidase-IN-16 (10 and 20 mg/kg; PO; single dosage) significantly reduces serum glucose level after glucose administration in rats [1].
