描述	Polygalacturonic acid (Galacturonic acid polymer) is a transparent, gel-like polymer that constitutes a key component of the plant cell wall, and Polygalacturonic acid has been applied in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs), acting as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent to protect cells from ROS-induced damage and promote wound healing, while Polygalacturonic acid nanoparticles additionally exhibit antimicrobial properties, providing multifunctional applications in biomedical research and nanomaterial development.
体外活性	Polygalacturonic acid - hyaluronate复合水凝胶偶联Ibuprofen后，能够有效预防成年雄性大鼠椎板切除术后的硬膜外纤维化（一种严重的瘢痕组织黏连病变），同时提升局部炎症控制效率，并降低Ibuprofen的副作用 [1]。 Polygalacturonic acid - hyaluronate复合水凝胶（PGA-HA，浓度 2%，体积 200 μL）作用 24 小时后，对小鼠成纤维细胞 L929 仅表现出低细胞毒性 [1]。
体内活性	在调控溃疡性结肠炎（UC）小鼠免疫功能及肠道菌群方面，口服Polygalacturonic acid对肠黏膜固有层免疫及肠道菌群的调节效果更显著，而静脉注射Polygalacturonic acid则在脾脏免疫调控中表现出更强优势 [2]。
