描述	Chlorfenapyr is a broad-spectrum pro-insecticide from the pyrrole class, used to control pyrethroid-resistant mosquito populations. As an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation, it disrupts mitochondrial energy production in target pests. The compound requires metabolic activation by specific cytochrome P450 enzymes, with reported catalytic efficiency (Kcat/KM) ranging from 0.03 to 0.66 μM⁻¹ min⁻¹ across mosquito species. Research applications include vector control optimization, polymorph-dependent insecticidal activity characterization, and investigations into cross-resistance mechanisms between chlorfenapyr and pyrethroids.
